SARİGERMEDALAMAN.COM - Catering for all your needs in and around Sarigerme

Ortaca
Ortaca is between Dalaman and Dalyan and if you want to see a typical pretty untouched by tourism (you can see the changes beginning though, with supermarkets increasing in variety, I can now even get my Bisto gravy and brown sauce in there, as well as seeing on the outskirts of the town there are loads of ‘luxury apartments’ being built). However currently this is quite a big place with a tourism market and a separate massive fruit and vegetable market. The market day is on Fridays and the whole town becomes a hive of activity worthy of a visit. You can find pretty much everything you need here, this is where I prefer to go feeling like I am actually part of this Turkish culture as opposed to towns such as Dalyan and Fethiye, (I think I’m in the minority on this one though) However you will find lovely little 24hour Locantars, cafes, and a few pizza places are starting to open up with fast food, last year there was one and it still kept the Turkish feel, now there are three or four and definitely have a more tourist or European feel to them, hence I’ve never been in them ones. You will find shops with the masses of Turkish desserts all cooked fresh on site, and you can find all your electrical stores, furniture stores, pound shops, clothes shops, like I say you can pretty much find anything in Ortaca So if you want to feel like you’re in Turkey, this is to place to visit, its only 10mins from Dalyan, 15mins from Dalaman, and 20mins from Sarigerme
Kalkan

Overview:
Bodrum, Marmaris and Kalkan. Were once small fishing villages, but they have now spread out from their original harbours to become huge holiday resorts with hotels ranging from luxury five star establishments with every conceivable facility, to delightfully simple 1 and 2 star properties run by the owners and providing amazing value for money along with a very warm welcome.
Bodrum
Each of the region’s resort areas has its own personality, style and appearance. In Bodrum you can find the superbly restored Crusader’s Castle tells the fascinating story of a less well-known piece of history, and you wont find buildings more that two storey’s high, all of them whitewashed and spotted with bougainvillea and olive trees, whilstMarmaris is extremely lively and is situated along a huge bay enclosed by pine covered mountains all the time looking like it is extending.
