Eating outisde of Sarigerme
If you fancy a nice meal outside of Sarigerme and unsure of where to go here are a couple of suggestions.
Şadirvan
Firstly in the village of Akinci there is the Şadirvan if you have kids especially this is the place to go. (about 10 mins drive or 20mins on the local bus that leaves from Sarigerme just let the driver know where you want to get off and it will only cost a couple of lira)
They do a variety of snack foods, meals , snacks and appetisers and they do a fabulous Turkish Breakfast for just 10TL where you will find a table full of food awaits you and will keep you satisfied until at least tea - time. You will receive plates full of foods such as; cheeses, fruits, salad, yoghurts, jams, marmalade, bread, chocolate spread, eggs, honey, nuts, chips amd a pot of local tea (çay).
They have for the kids (and even the adults) a variety of facilities such as a huge trampoline, table footie, air hockey, table tennis, pool, playground, and a brand new crazy golf area.
Toprakana
Another beautiful restaurant to go to for a more realaxing environment is the Toprakana Restaurant which is on the road to Dalaman/Fethiye. They have chickens and rabbits here also.
They also offer the Turkish breakfast as well as loads of their own homemade produce and everything from appetisers to meals for 2. Please be aware though if you are taking children, although they love the swings and see saw and the rabbits etc. other than chips there are no items such as burgers etc. for them so as long as they will eat the starters or Turkish food then you should be okay
